Being that I live in a 2 bedroom condo which recently became all my own, decorating for the holidays is usually simple around here. I go to Canada for the week of Christmas as it is so I don't put up a tree BUT that doesn't mean I don't get into the Christmas spirit! I tend to stick with simple reds, silvers, + whites with a touch of brightness for the child in me. Little things like candles, throw blankets to snuggle in, my stocking, & of course a little 'S' monogramed is always a must. I throw my bright colored ornaments in some vases for the finishing touch + it feels just like Christmas. There is no time of year prettier than the holidays, so it could be a crime to not participate even if its just a little!

I apologize for my absence these past few days but life had just gotten too busy to keep up with! One of my bestest friends got married Saturday so between Thanksgiving Thursday, rehearsal dinner Friday, speech writing, attending the wedding, and recovering the next day I have had my hands full. I am sad I didn't get to post any of my black Friday or cyber Monday deals but I am sure you all had a great shopping away!
The dress pictured above is what I wore to the wedding on Saturday. Although there was not a bridal party the bride & groom had given their closest friends parts in the wedding. Mine was a toast to the bride (after all the nerves I think I nailed it!) we also all wore dresses in the color scheme of red & purples. I found this dress from ASOS this summer & snagged it up immediately. I had been looking for an off the shoulder dress (not 2004 off the shoulder) with specific details, and thats just what I got! I paired it with my strapped nude heels and simple dangle earrings ($2.99 from a kiosk in AZ Mills Mall!) & my outfit was set!
Happy Tuesday Blogging Beauties, until tomorrow!
(here are some of my fav. holiday red dresses from ASOS for your cocktail party this month! All dresses are under $100!!)

dress worn as a skirt (here) (similar) + shoes (similar) c/o LuLu*s // shirt (similar) + jacket (similar): Forever21 // bag (similar): H&M // bangle bracelet c/o Crystal Faye // other bracelets c/o InPink // necklace: borrow from Brie's closet
Being that it is wedding season here in Arizona photography has been crazy busy. It is also family photo time just before the holidays, as well as engagement time so brides are looking for their spring photographer to book. What I am trying to say here peeps is that life has been full of meetings after meetings, lunch dates, and coffee Starbucks meet ups. When meeting current or potential clients it is important that I am dressed appropriate to give a professional image while still looking current and letting my own style show through.
I love this black dress from LuLu*s, it is a similar cut to the dress I wore when working weddings in this post, but this particular version is sleeveless giving me more options to style it. The temps have dropped (finally) so I threw a stripped long sleeve over top + added my green army jacket for a layered look. I am usually caring my lap top + note pad so having this big H&M bag is perfect for everything to fit in. When going to bigger meetings with companies or first time clients I wear heels, I also have worn my leopard flats for more of a causal look. Depending how long my day is will depend on either heels or flats!
Speaking of busy days, Happy Monday Blogging Beauties I have one busy yet short week ahead of me. Can't wait for Turkey Thursday!!

skirt (here) c/o chicnova // top (similar) & tights (here): Forever 21 // scarf (similar): H&M // shoes (similar): Charlotte Russe // watch (here) c/o LuLu*s // bag: LA Fashion District // lips: MAC "prrr"
Two words that I am excited to say today is.... It's Friday! I could scream it from the rooftops 1. mostly because I have friends from Canada coming to town this weekend for a fun filled sports time, & 2. because I have the best family photo session today that I have been waiting all fall for. One of my fav little families will be prancing about in their rain boots & umbrellas this afternoon! It will be the 3rd year in a row for the little ones, it will be the best!!
I was in the shower the other morning thinking of what I could wear for a comfy yet classy look for my busy day. I love this emerald green skirt from chicnova in the summer and I loved it so much that I had to find a way to transition it for these cooler months. I pulled out my all black turtle neck (my mom will kill me, I always make fun of her "grandma" turtlenecks) and added my scarf to modern it up a little. I must say this has been one of my fav looks of the fall/winter yet. I just may wear it weekly..... is that okay?
Happy Friday Blogging Beauties!

I had the honor to photograph this beautiful wedding a couple weeks ago here in Phoenix, AZ. Since Phoenix is hotter than most states, wedding season runs September-December and then again in January-May when the temperatures are at least a little bearable. I met Sara & Steve last year through mutual friends and instantly fell in love with them. They have unique style, fun upbeat personalities, and friends who can party! The wedding was nothing less than expected with games like Jenga, Beer Pong, and Bags. Of course the ladies were getting their moves on the dance floor while the guys chilled and watched from the cigar lounge. The food was all time favs like mac n cheese, sweet potato fries, pulled pork sliders, and salads. I wanted to show you just a few teasers from the wedding, I was able to catch the beautiful sunset giving the couple their perfect golden photos! You can find me busy editing up a storm for the next couple weeks.

pants: Marshall // sweater (similar) + plaid (similar): Forever21 // boots: Charlotte Russe // bag: Steve Madden // watch (similar) c/o LuLu*s // necklace (here) c/o T + J Designs // sunglasses: Coach // lipstick: Dior "fireworks"
1. Notice how my hair is pulled into a messy pony & I am wearing sunglasses? That is enough to explain how my week is going for far. Between working, editing, blogging, shopping, & everyday life the bags under my eyes will frighten you!
2. I am loving the layered look with statement necklaces for fall. Bringing my cat sweater out to play I paired it with winter time plaid & my darker emerald pants. Add boots & you are set for the day! It is still a little warm in Phoenix (I keep praying for a cold front to swoop right on through) so I wore it into the evening when the temperature drops a few degrees.
3. I have been on the search for some perfect jewels to wear to an upcoming wedding so every mall in the AZ Valley has been scouted. Again, I believe I may be loosing my shopping touch, clearly I am not practicing enough or I would be better at this! Has anyone noticed the lack of jewelry in their Forever 21 stores? Seems to be lots online but the stores are empty, at least mine are!
Thats all from me today, thank you for reading. Happy Hump Day loves!
